NRA Defensive Pistol ($175)

This objectives based course combines and tests the skills needed to be a responsible CCW holder and defensive shooter. 

The skills learned and refined include holster draw, reloads, and malfunction clearance all under timed pressure. This is not a beginner course. It is recommend that the student completes NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting, NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home or a CCW course. 

Each participant must provide a handgun (.9mm or larger), a strongside outside the waistband  holster, concealment garment, at least three magazines or speed loaders, magazine pouches or speed loader pouches, and 250 rounds of ammunition.
